That is beautiful. Your Sunday Posts speak to so many people in many differnt ways. Each week it seems so fitting.

Lovely Sunday post in the middle of my rant day!
Thanks for the respite.

It's also patient and kind!

We had that read at our wedding. I was thinking of using parts of it in the wedding toast I do at my best friend's wedding.

When I show up at your door with my tent and my toothbrush, I'll want to live in your yard. So could you just point me to a mostly level spot near those lilies, please?

Love is the greatest gift.

Thank you for visiting me awhile back, sorry it has taken me this long to get over......to say hi, if I have already....sorry I forgot...my memory these are terrible. I write notes to myself constantly. Plan on looking around while here...(smiling) Wishing you a great Sunday.

And lovely Susie as well!

lawbrat, blessings to you and yours, also. Sometimes I choose scripture with certain blogfriends in mind, sometimes it's just about what I need to hear. Thank you for always being so encouraging and appreciative of my little Sunday tradition :)

squirl, really? That's pretty synchronistic. I told you I haven't done HP yet. I did see the author on TV tonight and she was very appealing. I'll jump in, maybe while on vacation.

Thank you, nina.

JR, I love them, too. So bold, so striking. So dramatic; yet, they have freckles, too. Like an innocent little girl.

sierrabella, you're very welcome. As rants go, you were quite well-behaved ;)

misfit, yes, the I Corinthians 13 passage. Reminds me of the mothering discussion at your place. I heard someone once say that we should check on our mothering by inserting our own names in that scripture passage, and seeing if it's true: Misfit is patient, Misfit is kind, Misfit keeps no record of wrongs . . .
Pretty tough test to pass, huh? And yes, I know that God doesn't call you misfit (!!!!), and I know your lovely name, but I don't know if you've posted it in blogworld ;)

eclectic, you got it, my friend. Actually, the spot just in front of those lilies is quite level.

suzie, welcome. I find it hard to keep track of whom I've visited and when, so no apology necessary. Hope you've had a great Sunday, too.

Your Deliciousness, thank you, you make me blush ;) (Or could it be that persisting in calling another girl delicious is what's making me blush? Whatever....)

sfg, thank you! Both the Stargazers and the scripture are among my favorites.

excuse me for being ignorant here, but what type of flower is that? i like it a lot

not at all, dawn, how you gonna know if you don't ask? It's a lily called "Stargazer." I agree, they're quite something :)

thanx susie, i had to take a double look there, i'm not used to seeing my name. you have a good memory.

MB, thanks! Hope your weekend was great.

shoshie, welcome. Ohmygosh, if you aren't entitled to a little bitching, I don't know who is. I'm quite sure a license to post a rant every now and then comes with the sucky territory in which you all find yourselves.

I would imagine some temporary mind-loss could be expected as well. I hope she reconsiders; you're right, she'll miss precious time. I can only imagine that she's afraid . . . I dunno.

Those ice chips are on their way. I pray today is good for you, Sarah and all.
