Happy Birthday, Jif!
Jif at about 6 years old. The players are about 10. He wanted to play so badly that they let him be the water boy. He's still really good at bringing water to thirsty people. (Check out the coach with the cigar in his mouth!)
Here he is a few years later, and thanks to Nana's outstanding mothering skills, which include labeling all photos, we know that he won 7 (major) awards at the Cub Scouts' Blue and Gold Dinner.
Happy Birthday, Jif. You are still deserving of major awards.

I am the suckiest blog sister-in-law in the world. That said, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, JIF!! I don't mean to suck at birthdays, but so far in 2007, I've missed nearly every one, including Mr. Eclectic's. He had to wait until 9:00 pm to get his requested birthday dinner of chicken-spinach lasagne, because I wasn't prepared in advance. *sigh* So see? Your blog SIL may have missed your birthday, but at least your lovely bride did NOT. On balance, I'd say you're ahead of Mr. E on that account. ;) Happy day to you both, whatever the frick day it is!
